Phil Ciancio, a true “journeyman” is a multi-talented musician performing on Saxophones as well as other woodwinds. His warm/engaging personality makes him a hit with loyal fans at all his live venue performances.
Phil has gone through a real career revitalization since leaving his previous business life as a tooling and manufacturing facility owner in favor of becoming a performing artist once again, along with helping aspiring artists as their music mentor. His passionate interest in “live” performance has made him an “in-demand” professional player formerly in the Chicagoland area. In early 2020, Phil & Deb migrated to East Tennessee, and continues to share his music passions there.
Ever since becoming a Sax Dakota Endorser in 2012, Phil has worked closely with Dakota Personnel as a clinician with local dealers, schools and churches. Phil continues having great success reaching out to aspiring Saxophonists helping them gain performing skills and assisting the selection of instruments and gear best suited for their intentions.
Phil performs exclusively on a Sax Dakota SDSS-XG-707 Soprano, a SDA-XG-303 Alto and a SDT-XR-52 Tenor saxophone. Their unique combination of great looks, power, intonation, and reliability make Sax Dakotas “keepers” for Phil Ciancio.
