WARRANTY

Sax Dakota USA warrants this instrument to be new, of first quality and free from defects in material and workmanship for a period as described below. Please read this warranty in order to understand the terms. Should you have any questions, please write directly to Sax Dakota USA.

CONDITIONS OF YOUR LIMITED WARRANTY

Should your new instrument, acquired through an authorized Sax Dakota USA dealer, after date of original purchase, be found to have a defect in material or workmanship, Sax Dakota USA, will repair the defective part subject to the following specific conditions. This warranty is limited to the person who originally acquired/purchased this instrument. Registration of this warranty card is required to obtain services listed in this agreement.
Sax Dakota USA warrants that the lacquer, gold, silver, onyx or copper plating finishes are of first quality and workmanship. Sax Dakota USA does not warrant against deterioration caused by perspiration acid, corrosive atmosphere, or other external causes including modification and damage from playing use. All plated and lacquer finishes are guaranteed for a period of six (6) months from the original date of purchase against wear, crazing, fading or discoloring under normal playing conditions. Springs, corks, mouthpieces, and pads are excluded from this warranty. All other parts not listed are warranted for five (5) years. Instrument case(s) are not covered by any warrantee.

LIMITED LIABILITY

Sax Dakota USA will be the sole judge as to causes of damages or defects and be responsible for repair. The repair of this instrument shall constitute a settlement in full of all claims of the purchaser for damages and shall operate as a release of all claims for damages resulting from accident, misuse, modification, alteration or tampering. This warranty excludes all incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you. All shipping charges and insurance for repairing warranty service are to be paid by the owner of the instrument. Only repairs, not product replacement, are part of this agreement. Sax Dakota USA will pay for return shipping costs to the customer within the continental USA.

HOW TO OBTAIN SERVICE

If the instrument is defective in workmanship and/or materials, write Sax Dakota USA warranty service department, PO Box 550 Barrington, IL60011 USA for a return authorization form and instructions for returning the instrument. Freight Collect Shipments will be refused.
